JOB DESCRIPTION

Your Opportunity:

Do you have a flair for customer service, great people skills, enjoy being busy, and love to have fun while getting paid for it? As a Reservations Agent, you will be an important part of our front-line staff and play a key role in providing a positive experience to our guests. You will clearly communicate information and take bookings from our guests in a friendly, timely and accurate manner. You will be responsible for ringing in items into the point-of-sale system, receiving payment from guests, resolving their concerns, and ensuring the guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. At the end of each shift, you will total and balance your cash.


Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated sales and customer-service talents; related experience is an asset
  • Strong communication, organizational, computer, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • A team player able to work with minimal supervision
  • Physically able to grasp, type, read, write, stand, sit, lift, listen, converse, and perform repetitive motions
  • Knowledge of and passion for the ski industry is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Politely and promptly answer phones, emails and other inquiries while catering to guests’ needs
  • Up-sell products by informing guests of lesson products and other services available
  • Process transactions by operating a point-of-sale system and accurately perform daily cash procedures
  • Prepare and post snow phone and web updates each morning
  • Understand products in the Winter Recreation Guide and maintain a good general knowledge of the resort (i.e. Hours of Business, Tube Park, Lifts, Nordic, etc.)
  • Complete daily tasks such as cash-out, filing, and cleaning
  • Assist the Season Pass and Groups Departments, plus other duties as required
